After the inception in 2043 BS, Himanchal Boarding School, during the period of 29 years  has experienced many ups and downs but always with a smile .Himanchal Boarding School stands for quality education, richness in learning opportunities and high degree of morality. We were , we are and we will always be prepared to take any pains to bring out and deliver the finest without any compromise on quality education and ethics. Our primary concern for quality education and value based education is in itself driving us towards finding newer horizon to ascertain good degree of qualitative support for the students and teachers as well. Our SLC results ,so far have been fruitful and praiseworthy, As a result ,we can find our products in the national and international markets as qualified, competent and important man-power. We accept that we still have some shortcomings to improve and are always committed for the betterment and advancement. Twenty-nine years is a long stretch for an institution, in the history of an organization which belongs to education. But the steady thrust that HBS ( Himanchal Boarding School)  has somehow been able to make contribution in half a generation despite all the odds it faced and is still facing, and the image it has acquired gives reason to hope it should go a long way and it can. In the era of twenty first century, education has proved an immense value in the human life. Education accompanied by lots of practices and moral values is today\u2019s need. There is no denying that, on the average, present generation is swift and quick to be susceptible to bad and good directions equally. Joint venture of both school and guardians is needed to track them on the right path for rightful actions. Our future is dependent on new generation until and unless they are well concreted with knowledge, generosity and feeling of responsibility, it is hard to see them as strong pillars of tomorrow. We each member of the school family are well acquainted with this reality. We go through all the process to address these issues in practice and are keen to mould them into good citizens with good head, heart and hands. Congratulations, therefore, to everyone concerned and involved \u2013 to the Principal and the Board Members, the prime movers of HBS\u2019s Mission; theteaching staff, the pillars; and the parents whose support it cherishes and deserves, but it was probably the students \u2013 the pulsating heart of the whole body \u2013 whose perseverance brought the remarkable performance every year, something we can be truly proud of and will, I am sure, carry the banner still onward in the days to come.Lastly, a person may be fashioned by his psychology but the personification could be enhanced only by education that is what Himanchal Boarding School sets as its prime responsibility. It gives me immense pleasure to introduce Himanchal Boarding School as a multi-faceted institution in the realm of education. Established in 2043 B.S, it has been able to stand amidst a group of quality education providers of the country. Always guided by the virtuous vision, Himanchal Boarding School aims to contribute a lot in the nation-building. From the very first day of its inception, Himanchal Boarding School has been providing time-tested education to all its students. Here in Himanchal, we believe in learning by doing. We give a lot of emphasis to the practical aspect of the education. All the members of the HBS family are always working with their hearts and minds to produce a virtuous in different facets of life. HBS looks forward to expanding itself and reaching a wider section of the society in the coming years.
  In the recent years, education in Nepal has undergone major structural changes. In this context, it becomes necessary for us to make our education system compatible with International norms and standards.Keeping in view, Himanchal Boarding School has the aim of imparting timely and quality education that can fulfill the needs and aspiration of the 21st century. Courses and facilities<\/h2>\n

We provide conducive environment for teaching and learning. Realizing the core importance of technological and environmental studies, we have made compulsory study of opt. mathematics and environmental studies. We can never ignore the essence of the IT in modern era. We have advanced computer room ( for classes 2-8) where internet connectivity is provided 24*7. We take care of academic capacity of student. We provide appropriate boarding and day scholar facilities for our students. The HBS has modern and well-furnished classrooms for lab and library, a large playground and a spacious hall for various extracurricular activities of the children. In addition to the hygienic, spacious and well-furnished classrooms, the school is equipped with the infrastructure which the small children require while at school (such as canteen, library, playground,etc). Academic Advisory<\/h1>\n

The school firmly believe that no real learning takes place unless the learner desires to learn. Therefore, the curriculum is designed to help students explore and exploit their own learning process. At the conceptual level, the school is committed for Experiential Learning. Instead of learning being teacher-led delivery of knowledge, the teacher and students together construct knowledge, so that none is left out of this creative and exciting experience. Only limited number of students are enrolled in every session. There are hardly any section.

Academic Assistance<\/h2>\n

There are periodic reviews on the performance of the students based on which individual consultation is provided to both the students and parents, throughout every stage of student\u2019s time here. There will always be someone that the student can turn to for anything that they need. We try to enhance the creativity of student and discourage the rote learning culture.For regular works like photocopy, reference materials and other relevant student support, there is a special provision that meets students daily needs efficiently. For students with special needs, our co-ordinators act as a link between students, academic staff and management.
