Director’s Message<\/span><\/p>\n

Twenty-nine years is a long stretch for an institution, in the history of an organization which belongs to\u00a0education. But the steady thrust that HBS ( Himanchal Boarding School) \u00a0has somehow been able to\u00a0make contribution in half a generation despite all the odds it faced and is still facing, and the image it has acquired\u00a0gives reason to hope it should go a long way and it can. In the era of twenty first century, education has\u00a0proved an immense value in the human life. Education accompanied by lots of practices and moral values\u00a0is today\u2019s need. There is no denying that, on the average, present generation is swift and quick to be susceptible\u00a0to bad and good directions equally. Joint venture of both school and guardians is needed to track\u00a0them on the right path for rightful actions. Our future is dependent on new generation until and unless\u00a0they are well concreted with knowledge, generosity and feeling of responsibility, it is hard to see them as strong pillars of tomorrow. We each member of the school family are well acquainted with this\u00a0reality. We go through all the process to address these issues in practice and are keen to mould them\u00a0into good citizens with good head, heart and hands. Congratulations, therefore, to everyone concerned\u00a0and involved \u2013 to the Principal and the Board Members, the prime movers of HBS\u2019s Mission; theteaching staff, the pillars; and the parents whose support it cherishes and deserves, but it was probably\u00a0the students \u2013 the pulsating heart of the whole body \u2013 whose perseverance brought the remarkable\u00a0performance every year, something we can be truly proud of and will, I am sure, carry the banner still\u00a0onward in the days to come.Lastly, a person may be fashioned by his psychology but the personification\u00a0could be enhanced only by education that is what Himanchal Boarding School sets as its prime\u00a0responsibility.<\/p>\n

It gives me immense pleasure to introduce Himanchal Boarding School as a multi-faceted institution in\u00a0the realm of education. Established in 2043 B.S, it has been able to stand amidst a group of quality\u00a0education providers of the country. Always guided by the virtuous vision, Himanchal Boarding School\u00a0aims to contribute a lot in the nation-building. From the very first day of its inception, Himanchal\u00a0Boarding School has been providing time-tested education to all its students. Here in Himanchal, we\u00a0believe in learning by doing. We give a lot of emphasis to the practical aspect of the education. All the\u00a0members of the HBS family are always working with their hearts and minds to produce a virtuous in\u00a0different facets of life. HBS looks forward to expanding itself and reaching a wider section of the society\u00a0in the coming years.<\/p>\n
